INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Perry safely through
Joe Perry recorded a comfortable win against Yorkshire's Paul Davison yesterday (September 27) to secure a place in next month's International Championship.
The 43 year-old from Chatteris won the qualifying round match at the Guildhall in Preston 6-3. At one stage he was 5-1 ahead. His best breaks were 57 in the first frame and 73 in the sixth.
