A good news week for Haynes

In the club’s popular Easter Pairs competition he teamed up with Harry Sargood to win on Good Friday with a terrific score of 49 points.

And that came hot on the heels of another victory in the Captain’s Awayday Competition at Staverton near Daventry with a score of 42 points.

Nene Park’s Captain’s Drive-In took place at the weekend and despite a cool and very windy day the Drive-In competition was very well supported. The format was a nine-hole yellow ball stableford and the winners with 58 points were Mike Wilson, Leslie Stimson and Ivor Knighton followed by George and Jenny Walters and David French with 56 points and Kallon Rawlings, Lucas Bickers and Corey Dann with 55 points.
