Peterborough's Tiger stars in the Ryder Cup
A ‘Junior Ryder Cup’ competition was held at Golf Disneyland in Paris as a forerunner to the main event this weekend and Milton’s star teenager Robin ‘Tiger’ Williams was selected for the European side.
Williams (16) is the one of the top amateur junior players in the world and he enhaced his reputation by taking two points out of a possible three in the two-day event for under 18 male and female players.

And yesterday Williams was in oustanding form to claim victory in his singles match 2 & 1.
But it wasn’t enough to stop the United States winning the match by a single point 12.5-11.5.
The tournament is due to be broadcast by Sky television tomorrow (September 27).

Kai Raymond (3 & 2) and Harry Smith (3 & 1) won their matches, while Morgan Cresswell and Euan Herson halved theirs.
