Beginner ladies can now continue their golfing journey after completing their starter lessons with our club professionals. They are able to join the Milton GC practice ground membership and be part of the ladies academy. The aim is to keep new ladies motivated, supported and engaged until they are ready to progress to full membership.

The club’s first academy competition was a fantastic success. Teams of three, made up of an academy lady, junior girl and a ladies committee member competed in a fun Texas scramble format. The winners were Linda Glossop, Lisa Przyjemski and Millie Phillips.

A club spokesperson said: “It was wonderful to see women and girls of different ages and experience levels coming together, enjoying the game and supporting one another. Events like this are a great example of how we can inspire, encourage and nurture the next generation of female golfers at Milton.

"We would love to welcome more women and girls to the Club and help them discover the enjoyment, friendship and opportunities that golf has to offer.”
