Whittlesey Athletic in historic FA Vase tie, all the FA draws for the local clubs and Jarvis hits a hat-trick for Peterborough Sports after Marcus Maddison limps off

The first FA Vase match in Whittlesey Athletic’s history will be a second qualifying round tie against Eastern Counties League side Debenham LC at Feldle Field on October 10.

The opening rounds of the FA Cup and FA Trophy have also been drawn and here are the ties involving local clubs:

FA Cup: Extra preliminary round (September 1): Blackstones v Potton, Holbeach v Kirby Muxloe, Newark v Deeping Rangers, Peterborough Northern Star v Potton, Pinchbeck v St Neots, Spalding v Barton.

Preliminary round (September 12): Haverhill Utd or Norwich Untd v Wisbech, Stamford v Diss or Framlingham, Yaxley v Stowmarket or Rothwell.

FA Trophy: Second qualifying round (October 17): Spalding v Bedford, Stamford v Lincoln Utd, Wisbech v Coleshill, Yaxley v Chasetown.

FA Vase: First qualifying round (September 19): Ayelstone Park v Pinchbeck, Blackstones v Lutterworth Ath, Deeping Rangers v Oadby, Holbeach v Loughborough Uni, Peterborough Northern Star v Mulbarton Wanderers.

Second qualifying round: Bourne v Holbeach or Loughborough Uni, March Town v Norwich CBS, Whittlesey Ath v Debenham LC.

*Summer signing from Yaxley Dan Jarvis bagged a hat-trick as Peterborough Sports came from behind to win 3-1 in a friendly at Bedford Town last Saturday.

Ex-Posh star Marcus Maddison limped out of the match after 20 minutes as a precaution after picking up a knock.
