In the table, Darren Ferguson’s side occupy fifth spot, with 33 points from 19 played and five points adrift of Hull City in second but with a game in hand over the Tigers

Posh are pencilled in to return in Papa John’s Trophy against Portsmouth on Tuesday evening.

Interestingly, league rivals Fleetwood Town are still yet to appoint Joey Barton’s successor after the former Newcastle United midfielder left the club last week.
