The Peterborough United team I’d pick for ‘Mission Impossible’ at Fulham. Would you recall Sammie Szmodics?

In terms of challenges in your first ever match in senior management, they don’t come much bigger than this for Matthew Etherington.
He will be hoping to get a tune out of the players though, in a similar way the club did against Fulham in the home meeting when they were undeservedly beaten.
Mark Beevers and Jack Taylor remain out injured but Harrison Burrows is available again.
I have stuck with the 4-3-3 formation but tweaked some of the personnel.

9. CALLUM MORTON
Ferguson may have been onto something bringing Morton into the team and playing him up with Jonson Clarke-Harris on the left of a three. Unfortunately, Ferguson took off the wrong man when Coulson was dismissed as Morton posesses far more useful attributes to the side than Marriott, particularly in that match. Photo: www.jmpuk.com
The much-maligned centre forward has done ok in his past couple of games. If he is winning his headers but there is no-one around him to pick up the ball, then all the blame can't be laid at his door. Having Morton close may help. Photo: Peterborough Press and PR
Why not give Ricky a go? Posh face an almost impossible task so why not take a chance on giving him a start. Fulham are going to be on the front foot for almost all of the match so Posh's best bet for catching them out may well be a mistake created by Ricky latching onto a ball pumped forwards. He terrifies defenders with his pace and he will surely have plenty of space to run in to. Photo: www.jmpuk.com
Szmodics is worth a place on the bench as an option but it should be pointed out that he is benefitting from the common phenomenon of anyone not in a struggling side being remembered by fans as far better than they actually are. For the rest of the bench, I'm going Cornell, Edwards, Ward, Fuchs, Burrows, Marriott. Photo: Midlands
