PREVIEW: Netherton chasing cup glory again

Netherton United have been given a great chance to reach the Northants Junior Cup semi-finals.

The city side have been drawn away to lowly Northants Combination side Wollaston Victoria in the quarter-finals on January 6.

Netherton beat Wellingborough Whitworths Reserves 5-1 in the second round last Saturday with goals from Ondrea Odain (2), Erik Makate, Louis Hemming and Callum Madigan.

Netherton are back in knockout action tomorrow (December 2) when travelling to Warboys Town for a PFA Senior Cup tie.

The city side beat Warboys 10-1 in a Peterborough Premier Division fixture recently.

ICA Sports host Sawtry in an all Premier Division tie while Division One high fliers Peterborough Polonia will try and claim a big top-flight scalp when entertaining city rivals, managerless Peterborough Sports Reserves.

Premier Division leaders Moulton Harrox are in Lincs Junior Cup action at home to Ruston Sports tomorrow.
