POSH TALK: A squad with twice as many attackers as defenders!
Posh currently have 27 available senior players for the League One campaign, although that includes injury-prone midfielder Jack Collison who appears to have become a full-time youth coach.
But the squad, perhaps in tune with the club’s playing policy, is very attack-heavy.

Hide AdPosh have nine defensive players (including two goalkeepers) and 18 who would prefer to push forward.
Michael Smith is the only specialist right-back in the squad, although Ricardo Santos and Michael Bostwick have played there in the past. Transfer-listed Kgosi Ntlhe and on-loan Harry Toffolo are the only left-backs, although Andrew Fox can fill in at the back
Posh will also hope that Bostwick can stay free of suspension (he’s one caution away from a two-game ban) at least until Gaby Zakuani returns from injury (he should be back soon).
Posh tried to bring Mark Tyler back to the club in order to allow teenage goalkeeper Dion-Curtis Henry to get some much-needed first-team match practice on loan elsewhere.
The loan transfer window opens next Tuesday (February 9).
