POSH LATEST: Toffolo joins Peterborough United's international brigade

On loan Peterborough United left-back Harry Toffolo has been selected for an England Under 20 squad.

The 20-year-old Norwich City player will be involved in a game against Canada at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on March 27.

Toffolo will now join fellow full-backs Michael Smith and Kgosi Nthle, plus central defender Gaby Zakuani in missing the League One fixture with Coventry City at the ABAX Stadium on Good Friday (March 24). Midfielder Chris Forrester could also be missing if he is selected for a Republic of Ireland squad.

Promotion-chasing Coventry have also been hit with international call-ups. Top scorer Adam Armstrong, star midfielder James Maddison and key defender Jack Stepens will all miss the Posh match as well an Easter Monday clash with Colchester.

The Posh match against Coventry wull be shown live on Sky Sports.

Posh have postponed their scheduled Easter Monday match at Fleetwood until Tuesday, April 5.
