The Cobblers will be keen to complete a first League double over Posh since the 1986-87 Fourth Division season when it finished 2-1 in Northampton and 1-0 at London Road.
Posh went down 1-0 at Sixfields earlier this season to a fluke goal so revenge will be on their minds.
Posh don’t have a great deal of options, especially with speedy striker Ricky-Jade Jones expected to join midfielder Jeando Fuchs on the long-term injury list, but there is one significant change that can be made.
We’re sticking with the 4-2-3-1 formation….

9. MICHAEL OLAKIGBE
The on-loan Brentford winger did well in his 40 minutes on the pitch at the weekend when he played on both flanks. That suggests he is two-footed and capable of keeping his full-back guessing. He''s probably more suited to playing on the right wing in this Posh system than the more direct David Ajiboye. Photo: Joe Dent

10. MALIK MOTHERSILLE
An hour of Mothersille and 30 minutes of Ricky-Jade Jones would have been our plan for tomorrow night, but an injury to the latter means more will be required from the former Chelsea Academy striker. He's looking sharp though and will only get better and fitter the more minutes he plays. Posh should resist the temptation to start Jonson Clarke-Harris unless they expect Cobblers to pitch camp on the edge of their own penalty area. Photo: David Lowndes

He's started scoring again and remains the main man up top. Photo: Joe Dent

12. THE SUBS
Randall (pictured), Clarke-Harris and Ajiboye can provide the attacking cover, Ryan De Havilland is the midfield replacement and Romoney Crichlow, Harley Mills and Emmanuel Fernandez can back-up the defenders. Mills can be a sub just in case the manager wants to release Burrows further forward. Bilokapic is the goalie sub. Photo: Joe Dent
