In a twist on a regular topic, we’ve selected the best players in A to Z form, but how on earth do you choose between Mackail-Smith, McCann and Mclean?
Or between Gayle, Gooding, Gregory and Gynn?
Do you agree with our choices?
Have we missed anyone out?

NB: There are no Posh players with a surname beginning with a U or an X, although W. Upton (1935-36) and P. Urien (1945-46) played for the club before they reached the Football League in 1960.
17. Q - Trevor QUOW
A queue of only 3 players here and two of them were excellent including this midfield local boy. Jimmy QUINN was a superb finisher despite advancing years. James QUINN was a flop. Photo: David Lowndes
18. R - Tommy ROBSON
A no brainer to pick the all-time club record appearance maker despite stiff competition from outstanding centre-back Ian ROSS, Tommy ROWE and dominant centre-back Dave ROBINSON. Photo: .
19. S - David SEAMAN
Two great goalkeepers in this Arsenal legend and Eric STEELE from the 1973-74 side. Midfielder Alan SLOUGH was a top player as was winger Worrell STERLING and Paul SHAW is always prominent when discussing the best Posh loan players. Photo: David Lowndes
20. T - Lee TOMLIN
How do you really choose between this forward genius and the equally brilliant striker Ivan TONEY, and powerful and dominant centre-back Chris TURNER. With great difficulty, but TOMLIN helped Posh win the most as a player. Photo: David Lowndes
