Now back in League One after a miraculous season with Stevenage, Evans appears to have started his latest signing spree by bringing in former Posh man Nathan Thompson as well as two others in the last week,
Evans is no stranger to making moves in the transfer market having signed so many at Posh in just 11 months - between February 18, 2018 and January 23, 2019 - but were they a success at London Road? And where are they now?
Players are listed in the order they signed for Posh.

5. Alex Woodyard
Current Club: Wimbledon. The midfielder has been an established regular at Plough Lane for the last three years having joined the club after leaving Posh. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent

6. Louis Reed
Current club: Mansfield. The midfielder now plays for Mansfield so spent the season playing in front of Christy Pym as he did for the season Posh won promotion to the Championship in 2020/21. POSH SUCCESS? YES Photo: Joe Dent

7. Matty Godden
Current club: Coventry. Just a penalty kick away from being the next Posh player to reach the Premier League but that honour went to Joe Taylor and Luton. Posh recognised the striker's talent, but they also had Ivan Toney. Godden has developed very well after leaving. POSH SUCCESS? YES Photo: Joe Dent

8. Jason Naismith
Current club: Cove Rangers. Another player who headed back over the border very quickly. The right-back signed for Scottish Championship side Cove in January from Queen's Park, but they were relegated on goal difference. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent
