For that reason, the Peterborough Telegraph believes it is time to make changes to the line-u that huffed and puffed but very rarely ever looked capable of breaking through a limited but stubborn Fleetwood side.
We have gone for just two personnel changes but some slightly different roles for a couple of players, bearing in mind injuries and the general lack of strength in depth of the squad.
9. HARRISON BURROWS (sub Thompson, 60 mins)
He did enjoy a brief spell of success as a number ten earlier in the season and bringing him in would allow Kwame Poku to move over to a more natural position. It would also offer Posh another set-piece taking option. Should be keen to impress. Photo: Joe Dent
10. KWAME POKU
Too often finds himself picking up the ball too deep on the pitch when playing behind the striker, which takes a lot of his best qualities out of the game. Using his pace and trickery will be a lot easier on the wing and that is where Posh have got the best out of him this season. Photo: Joe Dent
11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
The big decision upfront would be to play Clarke-Harris alone or alongside Tshimanga but the problem for Posh at Fleetwood was not missing chances, it was creating them. Increasing the amount of strikers on the pitch will not make any difference if they do not get any service, plus Tshimanga is still an unknown quantity at League One level. Photo: Joe Dent
12. THE SUBSTITUTES
On the bench I will go for Will Blackmore, Frankie Kent, Nathan Thompson, Ben Thompson, Jeando Fuchs, Kabongo Tshimanga and Joel Randall. You don't need Kent, Thompson and Butler all on the same bench so might as well get another forward option on there. Oli Norburn has only played 45 minutes in one Under 21 game and is unlikely to be playing any meaningful part in this one so I'd go with Fuchs on the bench and Norburn can play in the 21s game on Monday.
