The January signings feature heavily in the selections as they deserve to be given a chance to show they are an improvement on what Posh already have.
The team sticks with the wing-back formation.

9. KWAME POKU
The club have said it themselves, Poku and Joel Randall are the Dembele replacements. That is what we have to live with. Even though he has only emerged in the last two games, Poku has shown himself to be the stronger of the two. His willingness to take defenders on was something we were all screaming at Dembele to do more. Spearheading Posh's bid for safety is a big ask for him but it's also a great opportunity for the 20 year-old.

10. CALLUM MORTON
In the coming weeks, Morton will hopefully be ready to start and that will be a boost for Posh. His legs up front will provide a different dimension and from the evidence we have seen so far, he can take a ball down and hold up play, something you would have previously worried about without Jonson Clarke-Harris in the side.

11. JACK MARRIOTT
Given the fitness records of both Marriott and Morton, we will see plenty of Clarke-Harris in the upcoming games but once Marriott gets fully match fit and fully confident in his body again, he will be an ideal partner for Morton by offering the option of running in behind and being there for flick-ons. Took his chance against Birmingham well to show he is still sharp in front of goal.
