LInks have been made with other clubs for players under contract, available for transfer and those who have already been released.
Here is what we have found in the last 24 hours including a recommendation that Liverpool, the second best team in the country, should take a look at one hot property.
5. SERHAT TASDEMIR
Status: Released on a free transfer. The 21 year-old midfielder was effectively available for transfer for the last two years of his Posh contract, but only struggling clubs Oldham and Barnet showed any interest. He played infrequently during his season on loan with the Bees in 2021-22 and if they don't want him for nothing he could well return to National North League side Fylde who sold him to Posh for a six-figure fee in July, 2019. Fylde are in the same division as Peterborough Sports next season. Photo: David Lowndes
6. DAI CORNELL
Status: Released at the end of his contract. It was a surprise to see the 31 year-old number one leave London Road, but only because few had realised he only signed a one-year contract last summer. Interestingly Cobblers' keeper Liam Roberts has yet to sign a new contract offer at Sixfields and Cornell is a former Northampton player. The only link the PT has seen is one with Newport County, but that might just be a Welsh connection or it could mean that County are willing to sell their former Posh 'keeper Joe Day. Photo: Joe Dent
7. RYAN BROOM
Status: Available for transfer after entering last year of his Posh contract. Club policy dictated this attacking midfielder was placed on the transfer list, although Posh boss Grant McCann nas not ruled out a return to the first-team squad (and therefore a new contract offer) for the 25 year-old if he impresses in pre-season. More likely he will leave and he should have League One suitors after a strong stay at Plymouth Argyle last season. Argyle want him, but seem reluctant to pay for him. There was interest in Broom last January from Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen, but they changed manager in February so a move north of the border is now thought unlikely. Broom's former Cheltenham boss Michael Duff rates the midfielder highly so keep an eye on developments if Duff takes over at Barnsley following recent speculation. Photo: Joe Dent
8. JORGE GRANT
Status: Available for transfer, but contracted at Posh until June 2024. One of the biggest flops at Posh last season surely wouldn't struggle to find a decent home in League One where he starred for Lincoln City in the 2020-21 season? It's slightly disappointing Posh boss Grant McCann doesn't want him, but other potential promotion chasers Sheffield Wednesday and MK Dons are allegedly sniffing around. Not sure the latter could afford him though. Photo: Joe Dent
