It’s a very small sample of games for some players, but we did find someone worthy of an an A grade!
Grading key: A-Star pupil, B-Consistently good, C-Satisfactory, D-Could do much better, E-Bottom of the class.

RONNIE EDWARDS: Appearances 5. Goals 0. Yes I know five appearances, three of them in the EFL Trophy, is not much of a sample, but how good has this 17 year-old looked when he has appeared in the Posh defence? Outstandingly good I would say as he combines a stylish look when in possession with the ability to time tackles and clear danger because of his knack of spotting danger early. He's not 18 until March, but he could well become a fixture in the first-team before then. He'd probably find it tough physically in a two-man central defensive system, but he appear born to play in the middle of a three. Grade A. Photo: Midlands

DARREN FERGUSON (Manager): I've started rating the manager's performance on a game-by-game basis recently and he's veered from 4/10 to 8/10 and back to 4/10 in the last three Posh matches. The midfield diamond he employed at Portsmouth was never going to work with the players at his disposal, he was then rewarded for bravely throwing in inexperienced players against Rochdale, before overseeing a horribly passive performance at MK Dons. Posh treated Dons as though they were Manchester City rather than a team that had won four out of 17 League One matches. But Posh are fifth so the boss must be doing plenty right, given how some players have failed to reach the form they showed towards the end of last season. GRADE: C+. Photo: Midlands
