The January transfer window has been open for 29 days and there has been precious little activity at Peterborough United

The deadline for transfers in England is 11pm on Thursday, February 1.

Posh have signed winger Michael Olakigbe on loan from Brentford and goalkeeper Jed Steer re-signed three days after leaving the club!

Posh sold forward Ephron Mason-Clark to Coventry City, but the Championship club have loaned him back to London Road for the rest of the season.

Key Events

  • Posh sign a striker
  • EMC departs, but loaned back
  • Premier League bids for Ronnie Edwards

TalkSPORT are claiming Premier League Crystal Palace have had multiple bids for Posh defender Ronnie Edwards rejected.

Free scoring midfielder Dan Kemp was recalled by MK Dons this week and was immediately linked with a move to League One promotion fancies Derby County.

Taylor and Marriott

Former Posh striker Jack Marriott has been linked with a move to League One promotion contenders Oxford United. He was linked with a move to the Us in August.

Marriott's expected departure could free up the cash for Fleetwood to follow up their interest in current Posh striker Jonson Clarke-Harris.

And another ex-Posh forward Joe Taylor is rumoured to be on interest to Bolton Wanderers who are currently second in League One. Oxford, Wycombe and Lincoln City are also reportedly interested in a 21 year-old who scored 12 goals on loan to League Two strugglers Colchester United from Luton Town in the first half of this season.

Luton have recalled Taylor from that loan spell with a view to sending him to a League One club.
