The 21 year-old has dropped from the Premier League to League One in search of regular football.
Posh have had mixed experiences with players signed straight from the top flight.
Here are 10 of the best and 10 of the worst, mostly nominated by PT readers...

1. BEST: IVAN TONEY
Signed from Newcastle United in August 2018 and scored 49 goals in 94 appearances for Posh. Now playing in Saudi Arabia, but he's currently with England at the 2026 World Cup Finals. Photo: Joe Dent

2. WORST: DANNY ROSE
Signed on loan from Spurs in September, 2009 and was dreadful. Made just 6 appearances before returning to Spurs and becoming pretty good. Won many England caps. Photo: Alan Storer

3. BEST: GABY ZAKUANI
Iron man centre-back signed from Fulham, initially on loan, in September, 2008. One of the great, and hardest, Posh defenders who starred in two Posh League One promotion teams. Photo: Alan Storer

4. WORST: ISAAC BUCKLEY-RICKETTS
Winger who was one of multiple Steve Evans signings in July, 2018. He came from Manchester City who demanded a buy-back clause that they failed to invoke when Buckley-Ricketts left Posh after just 2 appearances. Now a National League North player with Macclesfield Town. Photo: s
