Goalscorer Jonson Clarke-Harris played well as did strike partner Siriki Dembele, while defensively Posh looked well-organised and strong.
But did any of them win the PT man-of-the-match accolade?
Ratings key: 10-Perfect, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very poor.
9.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: Plymouth had no answer to his pace and skill at times, but at other times he overplayed and he missed a couple of excellent chances to score. Terrific little pass for the winning goal and combined well with Clarke-Harris especially in the first-half. 8.
10.
SAMMIE SZMODICS: Excellent workrate and attitude, but boy does he need a goal for his confidence. Saw a good early chance saved in this game, but he never hid. One lovely pass created a second-half chance for Butler. Substituted six minutes from time. 7
11.
JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS: Looked full of menace and intent until he tired and then picked up an injury. Having Dembele and Szmodics running off him made a big difference. Took his goal well and made life uncomfortable for the Plymouth defence until he limped off. 8
12.
NIALL MASON (for Broom, 76 mins): A very solid job on the right hand side of the defence. One excellent slidiing block 7.
