Goalscorer Jonson Clarke-Harris played well as did strike partner Siriki Dembele, while defensively Posh looked well-organised and strong.
But did any of them win the PT man-of-the-match accolade?
Ratings key: 10-Perfect, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very poor.
1.
CHRISTY PYM: A quiet game for the keeper who was well protected by his defenders. Misjudged one deep first-half cross, but otherwise very safe and secure and kicked well. 6.5
2.
FRANKIE KENT: Suits the right-sided central defensive role as he can bring the ball out from the back which he did with style at times tonight. Came off second best in the odd physical duel, but another solid display. 7
3.
MARK BEEVERS: The skipper was excellent and even showed some fine skill with the ball at his feet. He was commanding at the heart of the back three. 8.
4.
FRAZER BLAKE-TRACY: Gives the three-man central defensive system some good balance with his natural left-footedness. He's physically strong, but he can also play a bit. Impressive return to the starting line-up. 8.
