I’ve taken that into account when selecting the team I would like to see start against Bolton Wanderers in the final League One home game of the season on Saturday.
The usual 4-2-1-3 formation.

9. KWAME POKU
Surely the best player in League One and one of the most exciting Posh players of recent times will want to say goodbye with a bang? He should get the opportunity. Photo: David Lowndes

10. RICKY-JADE JONES
If he's fit he should start before leaving the game after an hour to thunderous applause from the home crowd. I'd give rival centre forward Gustav Lindgren the last two away games to justify the faith of his manager and his chairman. Many fans and media personalities are more sceptical, but we are often proved wrong, and hopefully we will be again. Photo: DAVID LOWNDES

11. MALIK MOTHERSILLE
The gifted forward scored twice in this fixture last season when sheer pace and skill upset a much better Bolton side than the current one. He played centre forward that day though and he's on the left wing in my team ahead of Abraham Odoh. Mothersille and Jones remain the only players to appear in every Posh League One game this season.
