I’ve taken that into account when selecting the team I would like to see start against Bolton Wanderers in the final League One home game of the season on Saturday.
The usual 4-2-1-3 formation.

5. GEORGE NEVETTT
Emmanuel Fernandez is injured and it doesn't make sense to keep playing hernia-troubled Oscar Wallin now Posh are safe. It's a chance to see if Nevett can shine next to an experienced central defender who is an outstanding communicator. He'll pass the ball well enough and his left foot offers natural balance, but he needs to show he can cope physically with League One. Photo: David Lowndes

6. HECTOR KYPRIANOU
The captain hasn't been at his best this season, but he's a quality player and an upstanding personality so he deserves a good send off from the London Road faithful ahead of his summer move. Photo: David Lowndes

7. RYAN DE HAVILLAND
There is no Archie Collins of course and De Havilland offers more upside in midfield than Donay O'Brien-Brady. Photo: David Lowndes

8. CHRIS CONN-CLARKE
The summer signing should get the last three matches in his preferred number 10 role to show what he can do. He really should have stepped up once Joel Randall left. Photo: David Lowndes
