Posh followed a sparkling 4-1 win against Rochdale at the Weston Homes Stadium last Saturday with a strong defensive display in a 1-1 draw at MK Dons last night.

Jonson Clarke-Harris’s 12th goal of the season secured a point that took Posh up to third in League One ahead of a big home game with fifth-placed Ipswich on Saturday.

“We’ll always take a point away from home when you’ve been under the cosh,” MacAnthony said.

“Getting three points at home and one away from home is a promotion formula, so people say. It’s building blocks.

“It would be good to start winning away from home again. We’ve stuttered of late, but MK Dons are a good footballing side.

“We had four players from the Academy and they got tired on a heavy pitch.

“Well done to League One golden boot leader Jonson Clarke-Harris for another goal and to Harrison Burrows for another assist.

“And what a debut from Ronnie Edwards, although I don’t want to build him up too much and start putting pressure on him.

“It doesn’t get any easier as there are some big games coming up. It’s an interesting league this season for sure.”
