Portsmouth boss to step down, Posh could get to within one point of the leaders on Tuesday


According to the Portsmouth News Jackett will oversee tomorrow’s League One game at Bristol Rovers before handing over to his assistants Joe Gallen and Jake Wigley.
Posh are at Gillingham tomorrow when a win would take them up to second place, one point behind leaders Lincoln City who were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Accrington Stanley last night. Accrington equalised in injury time.

Hide AdOxford United maintained their ominous form though with a come-from-behind 2-1 home win over lowly Wigan Athletic yesterday. The Us are now seventh six points behind Posh who they host on Tuesday, March 2.
