Posh were second best for large parts of Wednesday night’s match against Stevenage but were handed a chance to go ahead from the spot.
They took that chance and showed their promotion credentials by holding on to that lead.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Out of this world, 9-Brilliant, 8-Excellent, 7-Very Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Stinker
5. JOSH KNIGHT
Played his part in a solid defensive partnership with Edwards in what looked as if it was going to be a very tough night after the opening half an hour. 7. Photo: Joe Dent/theposh.com
6. HECTOR KYPRIANOU
A poor night, frequently gave the ball away in the early stages as Posh could get no control. Got himself in a position to pick up a booking that rules him out of the vital match with Portsmouth and should have done better then heading the long throw for Stevenage's goal back across his own box. 5. 7. ARCHIE COLLINS
Didn't stamp his usual authority of the game, did not pick up the ball as often as normal and had little impact on the game. 6. Photo: s
8. EPHRON MASON-CLARK
Took a while to get into the game after a sloppy opening, in which he gave the ball away too much but became a threat in the second half, played a brilliant ball into Mothersille to start the move for the third. 7. Photo: Joe Dent
