Posh tackle a battle hardened Barnsley side in a League One fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium on Sunday (3pm kick off). The visitors have an exceptional record away from home and will fancy their chances of picking off a Posh team that has lost five of their last six League One games to plunge down the table.
It’s not a time or a game for teenagers, especially ones that lack confidence.
Here’s the team I’m picking for the game in a 4-2-1-3 formation.

9. CHRIS CONN-CLARKE
Posh need Joel Randall at his best, but the team also needs a number 10 who wants to get on the ball and move forward into dangerous areas. Conn-Clarke offers that at least even if he lacks Randall's polish. Getting stuck in during a relegation scrap is essential and Conn-Clarke is more likely to do that. Randall could be deployed later when the game could be stretched. Photo: DAVID LOWNDES

10. RICKY-JADE JONES
I'd drop him if Abraham Odoh hadn't delivered 30 terrible minutes as a substitute on Boxing Day. Maybe a switch to the left wing will give Jones more freedom to utilise that speed as rough, touch centre-backs have had his measure in the last couple of games. Photo: DAVID LOWNDES
