Posh ran out comfortable 3-0 winners thanks to an impressive display worlds apart from their recent disappointments.
Both the defence and attack starred as they put Blackpool to the sword to book their place in the EFL Trophy final.

5. JADEL KATONGO
Much-improved after a ropey few weeks. Had to defend well and was even seen on the overlap causing problems. 8. Photo: n

Reads the game superbly well. Accepted the ball in difficult situations, helped Posh get out and set up attacks for teammates and hardly gave the ball away. Almost faultless. 9. Photo: Joe Dent
7. JEANDO FUCHS
Made a good impression on a rare start. His tackling ability is undoubted but even looked good with his passing. Booked late on for a slightly tired lunge which prompted the change to take him off and just protect the lead. 8. Photo: Joe Dent
8. EPHRON MASON-CLARK
Hard to shrug off the ball and looked a threat with Burrows throughout the first half. Did well in the closing stages to chest the ball down and set Burrows up for the third, a repeat of the same skill to set up the first. 8. Photo: David Lowndes
