Posh v MK Dons in January attracted the biggest iFollow audience of the season for a game at London Road.

Posh are averaging 2,250 subscribers for home matches and 1,250 for away matches and those numbers place them eighth in the overall ‘iFollow viewing’ table for third tier clubs.

The most watched Posh home game was the 3-0 win over MK Dons in January (2,500) and the least watched match was the 4-1 success over Rochdale (1,200), although fans were allowed into the Weston Homes Stadium to watch that match live.

The most watched away game was the 1-0 win at Ipswich Town, also in January, which attracted 1,800 viewers, but just 1,050 viewers watched the 2-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon at the start of December, the lowest number of the season.

Charlton, Portsmouth and Sunderland are believed to have the highest iFollow figures with Fleetwood attracting the lowest numbers.

The figures are subscriber numbers. The total number of watchers will be higher as any number of fans can watch one screen.

Local BBC radio reporters are currently banned from attending away matches so the iFollow commentaries are delivered by the host club’s BBC team.
