Peterborough United striker hungry for more goals this season after admitted he 'could have done better' last campaign
Peterborough United striker Harry Leonard is hungry for more goals this season, even after a successful debut season.
Leonard finished last season as the clubs’s top scorer, hitting the back of the net 16 times in League One and 17 times in all competitions. Only four strikers Lorent Tolaj (18), Jayden Wareham (19), Kyle Wootton (20) and Dom Ballard (23) outscored Leonard in the league last season.

On a personal level, Leonard enjoyed a successful season by appearing 42 times in all competitions, significantly more that his previous best in a season of 22 as injuries have blighted so much of his short career to date.
The 22-year-old has reflected on a positive season for himself but the desire to go even further next season is already there.
He was one of the players who reported back last week for three days of fitness testing ahead of the start of pre-season.
He said: “Last season is gone now, we want to come back in the best possible shape now having had a mental break.
“It was a really good season for myself. At times as a team, it was a good season. We had some periods where we were really good and we could beat anyone out there. It was a good season but as a player, you have to be hungry for more.
“I could have done better, scored a few more goals and helped the team more. It’s about bettering last season now.
“The gaffer and Ryan did a brilliant job after coming in at a tough time. When they came in we were rock bottom. They will now want to implement their style of play more and drill it into us in and out of possession. We have to take that onboard and go into the season full of confidence we can go something special.
“You have to look around the dressing room and say that we are going to have a right go, not go in talking about how tough it is going to be. It’s going to be a good season and I am looking forward to it.”
