Peterborough United striker believes he will become a better player after dropping down a division
Peterborough United striker Pemi Aderoju is delighted to drop down a division and get a chance to show what he can do.
Aderoju (22) moved to League Two side Crawley Town on a season-long loan on Friday. He had spent the second-half of last season in the Posh first-team scored and claimed his first senior goal in a 6-1 win over Wigan Athletic at London Road. Aderoju had started 2025-26 baging in goals regularly for National League South side Eastbourne.

Aderoju told Sussex World: "It feels really exciting. I'm glad to be here. From speaking with the manager, I feel like everything that he was saying and his ambitions for the club and for the season lined up with what mine are as well.
"You can even see from just looking at some of the videos from last season and then obviously when he speaks to us one-on-one, you can see that he really cares a lot about the progression of the club, while individually improving us.
"It’s great to have that peace of mind of finally being here and you can just lock in and focus on training, focus on preparation for the season and wait for the real business end to start.
“The first half of last season on loan was obviously really good as I scored a lot of goals. It's just about building on that, coming here to do what I know I can do and try and help the team get to where we plan to this season.
"I'm looking forward to getting started. I can't wait for the season to start and I’m just looking to hit the ground running. The top quality coaches here will help make me a better player.”
