The opposition goals in a 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Bradford City were gift wrapped while scoring chances came and went with depressing regularity at the other end.
There was no shortage of effort, but only two or three players could be pleased with their performances.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Out of this World, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Stinker.
5. LUCCA MENDONCA
The teenage centre-back was very good again despite a physical buffeting from overly-aggressive opponents. One splendid late clearance off the goalline - 8. Photo: Leila Coker
6. BRANDON KHELA
It's not happening for this midfielder. He covered a lot of ground, but the weight and accuracy of his passing was poor - 5. Photo: Joe Dent
7. HARRY ASHFIELD
He was better on the ball than most of the team and also very industrious so a surprise to see him among the first to go off, although there was possibly an injury issue - 7. Photo: Joe Dent
8. ETHAN WILLIAMS
He was a menace going forward, although his touch let him down at times. Unlucky not to score twice and played one excellent first-time pass to send Bolu Shofowoke through on goal - 7 Photo: DAVID LOWNDES
