It was tough to find a player worthy of an ‘okay’ rating.
RATINGS KEY: 10- Perfect, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very Poor.
1.
CHRISTY PYM: He was fooled by a fine free-kick as he took a step towards one side of the goal as the ball flew into the other side. I would imagine he was as shocked as the rest of us with what he was watching. 5.5
2.
NIALL MASON: Struggled at right-back against the talented Charlie Kirk and when he was moved to left centre-back in a three he presented Crewe with their second goal with an atrocious pass. Substituted at half time 4. Photo: Midlands
3.
DAN BUTLER: A disappointlngly lethargic display considering his nice little break from action. Off the pace defensively and no quality when going forward. 4.5
4.
FRANKIE KENT: Had to deal with many crosses and his clearances weren't always convincing. Very vocal in his encouragement of others, but he couldn't get anything going from the back 5.5
