It was tough to find a player worthy of an ‘okay’ rating.
RATINGS KEY: 10- Perfect, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very Poor.
5.
MARK BEEVERS: Defended better than anyone else, but he found Mandron a handful at times which was disappointing 5.5
6.
REECE BROWN: Did the absence of his regular central midfield partner cause him to try and force the action too much? His passing was way off his normal levels 5.
7.
LOUIS REED: His best work was done in his own penalty area clearing danger which is not really his job. Couldn't get on the ball or keep it in midfield. Substituted early in the second half 5 Photo: Midlands
8.
JOE WARD: Forced the Crewe goalkeeper into his only save of the first half which was something and he did whip in a couple of decent crosses which was more than most managed 5.5 Photo: Midlands
