Peterborough United pair win February EFL prizes
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson and top scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris have won the major individual EFL League One prizes for February.
Ferguson was named manager of the month for leading Posh to six wins in six matches, a run that took them to the top of the League One. Posh have since lost top spot after failing to win any of their three March matches so far.
Ferguson pipped Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Burton Albion), Neil Critchley (Blackpool) and Russell Martin (MK Dons) to the award. It’s his second manager of the month award of the season.
Clarke-Harris was nominated as player of the month after scoring all six League One games in February. He beat Jorge Grant (Lincoln), Charlie Wyke (Sunderland) and Mallik Wilks (Hull) to his prize.
