Certainly two of the three changes I’m suggesting for Tuesday’s League One trip to Port Vale cover that scenario. The third change is more a matter of personal preference rather than a slight on the player I’m omitting.
My team is still playing a 4-2-1-3 formation.
5. RONNIE EDWARDS
Enjoy him while you can. If there's any justice the England under 20 skipper will be playing at a higher level in January. Photo: Joe Dent
6. HECTOR KYPRIANOU
The full Cypriot international was harried out of Saturday's game. Hopefully he will find space more readily at Port Vale because Posh need his quick and accurate passing to show their best form. Photo: Joe Dent
7. ARCHIE COLLINS
The midfielder does a lot of good unnoticed work off the ball. He's the midfield anchor who lets others bomb forward. Photo: Joe Dent
8. JOEL RANDALL
I toyed with the idea of playing Kwame Poku as the 10, but two goals in two games makes it difficult to leave a player who should be full of confidence out of the team. Randall just needs to brush up on the passing aspect of his role. Photo: David Lowndes
