Peterborough United linked with a move for Wrexham midfielder, four months after the same story surfaced!
Peterborough United have again been linked with a move for wantaway Wrexham midfielder Harry Ashfield.
Ashfield is keen to leave the Championship club as he sees no pathway to regular first-team football. The 20 year-old has started just nine games for Wrexham after signing his first professional contract at the club in 2023.

Ashfield hasn’t made a first-team appearance for the Welsh club since January 1, 2026. He spent the second half of last season on loan at League Two side Cheltenham.
Posh were linked with a move for Ashfield in May by renowned football journalist Pete O’Rourke. The same journalist has suggested Posh still have an interest on Thursday night. Barnsley, Rotherham, Gillingham and St Mirren were also linked with the Welsh Under 21 international.
Posh appear to be well off for midfielders though following the recent arrival of Liam Kelly and the expected return to action next month of Matty Garbett.
