Peterborough United to learn next FA Cup opponents on Monday

Peterborough United are ball number five in tonight’s FA Cup second round draw (November 9).

Posh still haven’t lost in the first round of the competition since 2005 following their 2-1 win at League One rivals Oxford United on Saturday.

Goals from in-form pair Siriki Dembele and Jack Taylor secured a hard-fought win at the Kassam Stadium.

The draw is live on BBC Two and BT Sport from 7pm this evening, ahead of the final first round tie between Oxford City and Northampton Town.

Posh have reached the third round in each of the last five seasons.

Posh banked £22K for winning on Saturday. It’s £34K for the winners of a second round tie.

As the current League One leaders, Posh are the highest ranked team in the draw.
