A club spokesman said: “Peterborough United would like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who have already purchased season tickets for the 2020-2021 campaign, it is very much appreciated by the co-owners, players, and staff at the football club.

“We, like most businesses, are awaiting government updates with regards to the future and recognise that, while there is uncertainty, our fan base is reluctant to plan too far ahead into the future. With that in mind, the club are extending the early discount period for season tickets for the 2020-2021 campaign for an extra two weeks.

“The deadline therefore for the early discount period will conclude on Friday May 15, at which point we should have much clearer picture of the plan moving forward.

“We would like to thank fans for their support, loyalty and patience during this time and we are looking forward to the return of our wonderful game at the safest possible moment.”
