Peterborough United expect injured pair to return at AFC Wimbledon

Peterborough United expect striker Jonson Clarke-Harris and defender Nathan Thompson to be fit enough to play in tomorrow’s League One fixture against AFC Wimbledon at Plough Lane (December 2, 6pm kick-off).

Both missed Saturday’s shock FA Cup exit at the hands of non-league Chorley. Thompson hasn’t played since limping out of the first round tie at Oxford on November 7 with a hamstring problem, while Clarke-Harris picked up an ankle injury in last week’s win over Plymouth Argyle when he scored the only goal of the game.

Both can expect to start at Wimbledon. Thompson’s presence could mean a switch to a flat back four.
