Peterborough United enjoy a good night despite dropping two places in the League One table
Posh started yesterday leading a set of five clubs all on 59 points, but Portsmouth and Fleetwood both moved past them after drawing 2-2 at Fratton Park. A draw was seen as the most favourable result for Posh. Neither team now has any games in hand on Posh who have a much superior goal difference compared to their promotion rivals.
Sunderland could also have gone past Posh, but they were surprisingly defeated 2-0 at out-of-form Bristol Rovers for whom former Posh striker Jonson Clarke-Harris scored twice. Sunderland are seventh level on points with Posh, but have now played a game more.
