Peterborough United deny they are signing Exeter City winger, former Posh midfielder moves abroad in £1.5 million move

Peterborough United have denied reports they have had a £400k bid accepted Exeter City winger Randell Williams.

Posh manager Darren Ferguson declared his squad was 100% complete after the the arrival of Sammie Szmodics on Tuesday (September 8), but 21 year-old Williams was linked strongly with a move to the Weston Homes Stadium yesterday.

Former Posh midfielder Leo Da Silva Lopes has left League One rivals Hull City to join Belgian top-flight side Cercle Brugges in a deal that could eventually be worth £1.5 million to the Tigers.

Posh open their League One season at Accrington Stanley tomorrow (September 12).
