Posh trail 1-0 after Saturday’s first leg so they will need a mighty effort to reach Wembley for the second time this season.
Here’s hoping it’s a game good enough to mix with these memorable nights under the lights at London Road.
These are the favourite home night games of Posh fans who responded to a request from the PT on social media. They are listed in no particular order, apart from what must surely be an undisputed number one!

9. POSH 2, MK DONS 0, 2011.
This League One play-off semi-final second leg generated what is widely regarded as the best atmosphere in London Road history. Grant McCann and Craig Mackail-Smith (pictured, scoring) claimed the goals that delivered a 4-3 aggregate win. Photo: Ben Davis

10. POSH 8, ACCRINGTON STANLEY 2, 2008
A League Two hammering in the pouring rain for poor old Accrington with the Posh 'Holy Trinity' scoring all of their side's goals. Aaron Mclean is pictured scoring one of his three, while George Boyd also scored a hat-trick with Craig Mackail-Smith netting twice. Photo: PT

11. POSH 3, HUDDERSFIELD 1, 2013.
This game is included because George Boyd scored one of the greatest Posh goals from close to the halfway line. It was the second he scored that night with full-back Kgosi Nthle also on target in a Championship fixture. The picture shows Boyd's shot flying over the Huddersfield 'keeper and into the net. 12. POSH 5, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 3, 2011
Posh were 3-2 down in this League One game at the break, but eventually won the day with goals from Craig Mackail-Smith (2), George Boyd (2, pictured) and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing. Photo: Ben Davis
