Peterborough United travel to Sixfields to have rivals Northampton Town on Saturday (August 19, 3pm).

History suggests that Posh will come out on top and are going for five straight wins at Sixfields.

They have also not lost a league match at the ground since the start of 2002.

Ex-Cobbler Peter Kioso is now in the Posh ranks and looking to come out on top in his first trip back to Northampton since his loan spell.

LIVE: Northampton vs Posh

Key Events

  • 3pm kick-off

Kioso yellow for catching Hoskins late.

Northampton are getting on top now.

The subs certainly haven’t helped Posh keep the ball.

Kioso and Odimayo down getting treatment.

He’s had to come off. Bowie goes off also

Monthe and Lintott on.

Kioso looks to be ok.

Nice Posh move.

Ajiboye springs from midfield, crosses from the right as JCH tries to run on and attack the ball but gets dragged down.

Not seen by the ref, Ricky managed to still get there first but his pull back for Ajiboye leads the winger having a weak shot blocked.

Poku now down the middle, Ricky and Ajiboye out wide.

Poku was Posh’s only real source of joy.

EMC, Burrows and Randall off

Tomlinson, Ajiboye and Ricky on

Northampton corner, won after Kioso made a couple of big tackles on the edge of the box to stop Hondermarck crossing.

Played straight to Collins on the edge of the box.

Burrows does better this time EMC gets a ball played to his fet in the box.

He has the option to just roll it across to JCH, who would have a clear shot.Instead, takes a touch and scuffs an effort out of play for a goal kick, nowhere near.

Dare say both sides are running out of ideas a bit.

Posh can’t force their way through, Burrows wasted a good crossing position by putting it into the keeper’s hands.

Hondermarck slots into midfield.

Posh still jsut relying on some Poku magic to create anything in the final third.

Sowerby off, Hondermarck on.
