The temptation would be to stick with the same team, but Sheffield United will be a far superior outfit than the Blues so if the star men are fit, they must play.
I’m sticking with wing-backs for this match.
9. SIRIKI DEMBELE
Scoring chances will be rarer against United than the Blues so I'm replacing Kwame Poku with Dembele in the hope the latter is not distracted by transfer talk and matches the former's excellent workrate as a support striker. Dembele remains the player most likely to score or create a goal out of nothing. Three forwards to occupy the three United centre-backs could make a difference.
10. JACK MARRIOTT
Marriott's hour on the pitch at St Andrews should have sharpened up further and he scored from the one chance he had. He should manage another hour here.
11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
I can see Marriott and Callum Morton playing together soon, but there was enough promise in the Clarke-Harris/Marriott partnership on Tuesday to deserve another go here.
12. THE SUBSTITUTES
The prospect of Callum Morton (pictured) coming on for half an hour against tired opponents is one that excites me. Sammie Szmodics, Joe Ward and Kwame Poke also offer attacking alternatives. Nathan Thompson and Joe Tomlinson offer defensive cover while Dai Cornell will be the sub goalkeeper if fit. Photo: Midlands
