But I’ve had a go anyway and selected an XI in a 4-4-1-1 formation.
I’ve made a big call up top.
5. DAN BUTLER
Giving Fulham's £12 million pound man Harry Wilson the opportunity to operate in the space between Beevers and a left-wing back would lead to disaster. Butler has looked susceptible defensively in recent games, but he's the best left-back we have so in he comes. Joe Tomlinson appears to have disappeared from view.
6. IDRIS KANU
Fulham own a rapid, dashing, talented left-back in Antonee Robinson so he needs looking after. Joe Ward is not that man so let us see the extra muscle and power of Kanu. Kanu looked lost as a wing-back at Swansea, but wide right with orders to keep tabs on Robinson is simple to follow even if it proves difficult to achieve. Kanu has the pace to keep Robinson honest defensively.
7. OLIVER NORBURN
The midfielder's defensive discipline will be vital in the game.
8. JACK TAYLOR
He will have to sit deeper than he likes, but has the ability to play the long pass into space the Posh forwards can exploit.
