Peterborough United are searching for a vital Championship win at home to Stoke City (March 12, 3pm).

They will have to do it without goalkeeper Steven Benda though, who has been ruled out for at least the next three games. The return of Jack Taylor does provide a boost to Posh’s cause though.

Stoke, meanwhile, have not won in any of their last seven games in all competitions and seem to have dropped Posh hero Josef Bursik from their line-up.

LIVE: Posh vs Stoke

Key Events

  • 3pm kick-off
  • Steven Benda remains injured
  • Posh have not scored in their last 4 home league games
  • Stoke have not won any of their last 7 matches
  • Josef Bursik and James Chester could feature

Stoke free kick level with the left edge of the box. Good crossing chance.

Stoke now seeing all of the ball. Fletcher is floating into pockets of space and Posh have been lucky that their final ball has been poor. Just then, Thompson passed a ball intended to Tymon right next to him, straight out of play.

Stoke have barely started but spring into life there. Tymon has caused Posh problems all day. He breezes past Ward and gets to the edge of the box. He gets it back across goa for Brown running in and under no pressure he really should do better than scuffing it up into the air and wide.

Much more positive start to the half from Posh. Getting forward more and Stoke have not really got going this half.

There’s another one soon after though as Burrows sees a shot from range deflected wide. Fletcher rises to head it away though.

Nothing comes of the corner as Kent loops a header well over the bar.

JCH has found someone he can beat in a footrace and it’s 39-year-old Phil Jagielka. He wins his side a corner after he beats his man to get a ball into the box.

Half time change for Stoke. Wing back Duhaney off for striker Josh Maja. Look like goalscorer Brown is going wingback.
