LIVE: PETERBOROUGH UNITED VS MIDDLESBROUGH- Posh well beaten by Middlesbrough
Posh will be without the services of captain Oliver Norburn and goalkeeper Steven Benda. Ronnie Edwards is also a doubt after suffering with Covid this week.
They could welcome back Ricky-Jade Jones though to face a Middlesbrough side whose charge up the table in recent weeks has stalled slightly with only two wins in their lest five. One of the two defeats came away at Barnsley.

73 mins 2-0 Boro
Thsi game is dying a death here. Posh are showing themselves to be so lacking in the fundamentals. Simple passes going astray, long balls going out of play and that is what is holding them back this season more than anything. You can discuss formations all you like, but you need some quality players.
Boro sub 69 mins 2-0 Boro
Change up front as Watmore replaces Balogun. His last act was to makea heavy touch just inside teh box from a great disguised pass from Tavernier.
66 mins 2-0 Boro
Burrows sends in a ball to the box, Poku peels off the back post, heads it down but Szmodics and Marriott leave it to each other. Theres been this kind of space all game but Posh have not shown the quality to exploit it. A better team would have scored today and probably more than once.
63 mins 2-0 Boro
I make this the first time McCann has not played a back 3 at any point since he took over. Looks like a 4-2-3-1
60 mins 2-0 Boro
I think Tavernier tried to score from that corner, he wans’t far away. Just whistles past the top corner.
59 mins 2-0 Boro
Boro come again, Jones and Crooks combine down the right. Fucchs with the block. Corner is barely cleared, Feranadez needs two goes at it, then Knight finally gets is away.
