Peterborough United travel to face Derby in what is now a must-win match in the Championship relegation battle (February 19, 3pm).

Victory would see Posh move six points clear of the Rams with a game in hand and potentially out of the relegation zone.

Defeat, however, would see Derby move ahead of Posh and drop them to 23rd and much closer to a place in League One next season.

Ronnie Edwards could be available again after injury.

Yellow for Jones. Bad ball across the box from Derby but it’s going to Jones. He’s daydreaming though and Byrne nips in behind him. He brings him down and it’s a free-kick 30 yards out, central.

Good direct running from Jones, that’s what Posh need. All the way down the left, cuts inside and drives a ball back for JCH. It’s a good clearing block by Davies.

Thompson down again, been down a few times since the challenge. A real worry for Posh. Just before then, Byrne flashed a header across goal after being picked out all alone in the box by Forsyth’s cross.

The level playing field isn’t really on show here. The question is now how can Posh get on the ball and create.

All the chances falling Derby’s way. Ebosele is tearing Posh apart, he’s set free in behind Mumba, teases a ball across the box, just ahead of Plange but in comes Forsyth, he really should do better than blasting over the bar from five yards out.

Jones comes on for Marriott.

Terrible pass back across his own box by Norburn, goes into Brown who miscontrols, he has to slide in and all the Posh fans hold their breath as he makes significant contact with Ebosele. It’s only a yellow fortunately.

Excellent chance falls Derby’s way. It’s Bird again after Ward loses his man on the left and allows the ball to come into Bird about 8 yards out. It’s smashed at Kent’s chest, not sure he knew alot about it.

Derby still firmly on the front foot. Ebosele causing problems on the right.

Ebosele shot blocked on the edge by Kent. Corner goes over everyone. Second half yet to really start.
