Peterborough United face Cardiff City in a crucial bottom of the table clash at the Cardiff City Stadium (February 9, 7:45pm).

Posh have to refocus on the league as they look to pull finally kickstart a run towards safety in a big clash away at Cardiff.

A win would narrow the gap between the sides to six points but defeat would see the Bluebirds pull 12 points clear of the drop zone and Posh.

77 mins 3-0 Cardiff

That could have been something for Posh there. Mumba ball over the to, headed on by JCH Poku looks to be in between the centre halves, the pass is on to Morton on his right but he takes too long and its cut out.

75 mins 3-0 Cardiff

Thanks goodness for that. Hugill off, Ikpeazu replaces him.

74 mins 3-0 Cardiff

JCH registers another shot on Posh’s tally. The freekick is from about 25 yards out, ripples the side netting.

73 mins 3-0 Cardiff

Yellow for Wintle, trips Poku as he tries to go on a run.

71 mins 3-0 Cardiff

Cardiff win the first ball from the corner and the second and Flint fires in a shot but it’s blocked by mixture of a couple of bodies.

Mumba gives the ball away on teh left, Drameh is off again, drives into the heart of Posh’s defence again. Cuts is back for Hugill but it’s a great block from Edwards to prevent a fourth.

69 mins 3-0 Cardiff

The possession stats will be heavily in Posh’s favour at the end of this but it is largely simple passes before being forced to turn around and go back. Then invariably a ambitious ball goes astray.

65 mins 3-0 Cardiff

Corner, they’re breaking at will. This time Hugill runs into Kent. JCH faces his first corner and wins it. You can't argue he should play just to defend set-pieces but Posh look a hell of a lot more secure at doing so when he’s on.

62 mins 3-0 Cardiff

Ward goes to RB, Mumba back to the left. JCH just replaces Marriott up top. Cardiff were looking content to settle but Posh haven’t been able to keep the ball and as is probably now the game plan, they were picked off.

Clarke-Harris and Ward on for Coulson and Marriott.
